We collaborate with families and caregivers to design and implement AAC systems that work for a variety of settings.

Admissions
Please review the steps of our admission process:
Work with your school district to send The Avalon Academy a referral packet. This should include your student’s current IEP.
Once received, our admissions team will review your packet and if your student is deemed an appropriate candidate for the program, an Avalon representative will reach out to you to discuss next steps, including an in-person screening of your child with our team.
Schedule an appointment with our Executive Director to tour campus and learn more about our program.
The Avalon Academy admissions team will review all student information to determine if our program is a good fit for your student.
We will notify you and the district of all admissions decisions.
If your child is accepted, and you and the district would like to move forward, a mutually agreeable start date will be set.
We look forward to welcoming you to our community!
