Maureen Howard-kiely, Director of student health

Maureen has been a pediatric RN for over 20 years, with a Master's of Nursing in Case Management.  She has worked in ambulatory care, home care, and various school sites throughout her nursing career.  She enjoys working with families in various capacities.  Maureen has two sons and a daughter, and has a unique perspective on children with special needs as her oldest son has cerebral palsy, hydrocephaly, epilepsy, and other medical conditions.  She is happy to join the Avalon team and provide support to staff and families.
